AWAKE to a New Life… is a light-hearted fictional story about a guy who assumed he was good with God and would end up in Heaven like most other people. It made sense because his life was good, and he was a reasonably good person. Fortunately, without facing a crisis, Jack was able to discover that God disagreed with his assumption. He was also given the unique opportunity to ask any question and receive God’s answer each night in a dream. He learned that God’s plan for this life was much different than he had been assuming.
Assumed Christianity addresses Jesus’ prophesy (Matthew 7:21-23) that “many” professed Christians will be turned away from Heaven by Jesus. These assumed Christians will plead their cases, but Jesus responds by saying, “I never knew you…” This book describes how to be assured that we know Him and He knows us.
My Way Take 2 describes the author’s two takes on life. The first was along the lines of the My Way song. He found success while not hurting too many people along the way, so he assumed he was good with God. Fortunately, God got his attention in an unusual way allowing him to see his assumptions were wrong. My Way Take 2 describes what he learned about God and how his life changed for the best.
